Refund and payment policy
Updated 4 August 2026
This policy explains who you buy from, how Estimake subscriptions are billed, and how to get your money back if you change your mind. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Merchant of record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle takes the payment, calculates and remits any VAT or sales tax due for your country, issues your invoice, and handles customer service enquiries about payments, invoices and refunds.
Depending on where you are, your purchase contract for the payment itself is with:
- Paddle.com Market Limited (London, United Kingdom) — rest of world;
- Paddle.com Inc. — United States;
- Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd — Canada.
Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms and Conditions apply to the transaction alongside this policy. Your relationship for the Estimake service itself remains with Cytec BG Ltd.
2. What you are charged
- Subscriptions are sold per workspace, not per user, and are billed monthly or annually in advance. Current prices are on our pricing page.
- Prices are shown excluding VAT or sales tax. Paddle adds the tax due for your location at checkout, so the total you confirm is the total you pay. Business customers in the EU with a valid VAT identification number may be reverse-charged.
- Every new workspace gets a 14-day free trial of the Studio plan with no payment details required. A trial never turns into a charge. When it ends the workspace moves to the Free plan unless you have chosen to subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan until you cancel. We give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price increase affects your subscription.
- Your card statement will show Paddle alongside the Estimake name, because Paddle is the merchant of record.
3. Refunds
- We refund any Estimake subscription payment in full if you ask within 30 days of that payment. This applies to monthly and annual plans, to your first payment and to a renewal, and you do not need to give a reason.
- If the Service was materially unavailable or did not work as described, tell us whenever it happened — we will put it right or refund you, regardless of the 30 days.
- After 30 days, you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We will still consider a refund for the unused remainder on a case-by-case basis — ask us.
- Refunds go back to the payment method you used, normally within 14 days of approval.
- We do not charge a cancellation or exit fee, ever.
4. How to request a refund
Either route works, and neither requires you to be signed in to Estimake:
- Go to paddle.net, our merchant of record's buyer portal, and choose Request refund. You can also use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in the confirmation email Paddle sent you, or email Paddle at help@paddle.com.
- Or email us at support@estimake.it from the address on your account and we will arrange it with Paddle for you.
5. Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. Because Estimake is supplied digitally and immediately, by subscribing you ask us to begin supply at once and acknowledge that this statutory right ends once supply has begun.
Our 30-day refund in section 3 is offered in addition to that right, not instead of it, and it applies whether or not you have used the Service. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
6. Cancelling a subscription
Cancel at any time from Workspace settings → Billing inside Estimake, or from the Paddle billing portal linked there. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep full access until then and you are not charged again. Your estimates are not deleted when a subscription ends — see Terms of Service section 6.
7. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it over a short period and emails you so you can update your card. If it still cannot be collected, the workspace moves to the Free plan. We do not delete your data, and you can subscribe again at any time.
8. Disputes and unrecognised charges
If you see a charge you do not recognise, please contact us or Paddle first — it is almost always faster than a chargeback, and we would rather refund you directly. Questions about an order, an invoice or a payment method can be raised with Paddle at paddle.net at any time. Paddle's refund policy also applies to transactions it processes.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The refund terms that apply to a payment are the ones published on this page at the time you made it. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
